All CJMC programs are free for Squamish People and Squamish Nation staff. The programs below are available for members facing additional barriers, or for non-members who wish to access recreation funding support. All applications are handled with full confidentiality.

Priority: Ages 25 & Under

Squamish Nation Sports & Recreation Grant

The SN Sports & Recreation Grant supports the athletic endeavors of individual Squamish Nation members or groups through funding assistance. Priority is given to applicants 25 years and under.

Four Funding Categories

Individual Recreation

Supports an individual member's participation in recreational sport or physical activity.

Individual High Performance

For members pursuing competitive sport at a high level, tournaments, training camps, equipment.

group

Team Sponsorship

Supports a Squamish Nation team participating in a league, tournament, or sport event.

Event Sponsorship

Funding for organizing or hosting a sport or recreation event in the community.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart

Canadian Tire Jumpstart provides financial assistance for kids' sport and physical activity. Grants cover registration fees for children facing financial barriers to participation.

Children 18 & Under

KidSport

KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers to cover sport registration fees. The North Shore / North West Vancouver chapter supports children and youth in our area.
